Looking at the site it seems everything (nearly) is out of stock? Does one just keep looking or do you just place order and wait?
Thanks and sorry if this has been gone over before.

It seems like I get two emails a week, each showing new and different upper sales. You could try getting on their email list, are you looking for something out of the norm?

Sign up for their email blasts, as well as grabagun, slickguns, centerfire systems, classic firearms, CDNN, Bravo Company, etc.

Many very good deals quite frequently.

You will notice you can't place an order for something out of stock....contrast that with places that happily take your money and you wait....

I placed an order on Feb 3 for some ammo...website indicated it was in stock and they let me purchase it. A week or so went by with no delivery and no word. I e-mailed them and got no response. A few days later I called and a guy said it was in stock, he didn't know why it hadn't gone out yet, but that he'd check and get back to me that day. I never heard from him. Another week goes by with nothing, then I get an e-mail that a UPS label was created.

This is the only time I've used them, they were incredibly slow and very un-responsive. I doubt I'll place another order.

If you go into it understanding that they ship slow and are very busy you will be happy. If you need parts in a hurry spend the extra money somewhere else.

I ordered an Aimpoint PRO from them about a month ago for $362. Took almost two weeks to get the shipping notice but I know thats how PSA is so I was ok with it. Its a great shop, just a little slow sometimes.

I usually just browse the website every once in a while. If something catches my attention I go for it. If you NEED something NOW then PSA is probably not the place to go. If you are patient and want to build an AR over time then it is probably the best place to go.

The last thing I bought (I have bought many things from them) was a range bag with 5 PMAGS for $100. I had been passively keeping my eyes peeled for a good range bag and then saw this 5.11 bag with mags. I went and checked midway and wouldn't you know, they wanted $115 for the same bag, no mags included. The next cheapest place online was $99, but again, no mags. You can always use more mags!

It took about 2 weeks to get to my door, which (for me) is pretty standard from them. I have ordered some miscellaneous parts, receivers, etc. The only time it took longer was post-Aurora for a middy upper.

Ah, all of my best deal spots as well, might as well throw in kygunco.com to round things out.

PSA has some great gear at good prices. That being said, they are experiencing exponential growth and have some customer service issues. Their customer service team just moved into a new building last week, so hopefully that will smooth things out. They have a forum in the industry section on a certain website dedicated to Americas favorite modern sporting rifle...

They have complete M-4 uppers on sale right now. I almost bought one last night, but I just can't right now. IIRC, they have blemished ones for $359. Based on what I've seen, what they call a "blemish" is about what your rifle will have the first time you put it in the gun cabinet or safe.

I actually have managed to order a lower build kit from PSA that was out-of-stock. After a few weeks of waiting, I contacted them to ask what was up. Sure enough, they said the item was out of stock and asked if I wanted a similar item (which I was OK with).

I wonder if they would have ever contacted me on their own, though?

PSA is like TJ Maxx or Big Lots. What you see on their website is what they have in stock and when it is gone you might not see it there again for months, years or forever. The only thing that confuses people is when they leave the product page visible for long periods of time while it is out of stock.

The moral of the story; Don't wait on a specific PSA item to come back in stock, for some things like barreled uppers, you might be waiting for a very long time.

Still, in spite of PSA's quirks, very few people seem to be unhappy with the stuff they buy from PSA.

You just have to understand their quirks and be willing to wait a couple weeks for your order to arrive. No sweat.

I've purchased a lower parts kit, some mags, and a pistol grip for an AR Im building. Both orders made it to my door in less than 2 weeks. Granted, everything was in stock when I ordered.

Tonight I ordered a 16" upper, flip up sights, and a bcg + charging handle. Hopefully I'll see it in the same ~2 weeks.

I bought a complete 20" upper from them for four-fifty shipped. I was very happy about that. Completed a very nice A2-ish build.

The way I got the thing was to look on their website every day for about four months. One day this little guy right here showed in stock. They stayed available for about 72 hours, were gone and I haven't seen them in stock since.

Moral is to pick out what you want, keep your form of payment handy and look every single day until it shows available.

Order. Enjoy.

One trick is if they are out of stock and you wonder how much it costs, click "Add to Compare" and then on the left side you click "Compare" and it will show you all the prices if it were in stock.

I have bought 4 lowers, 1 complete upper, 1 complete rifle, a couple bags & mags, and just today ordered some more mags and ammo. Can't beat free shipping coupled with no tax... I'm a patient man, most times...
Everything I ordered eventually got here, and nothing was ever not as described.

Moral; good stuff, good prices, slow shipping, overworked/overrun CS.

I recently ordered the Enhanced LPK from PSA and I had the box at my door in just over a week. I have to give PSA credit for their shipping time. I recieved the email stating that the shipping label had been created and it shipped two days later and showed up early the next week. No complaints from me. I will be ordering quality products from them again. I bought the kit while it was on sale for $80 and felt like it was a really good deal.

I dont understand why you would order something that is listed as "out of stock" and then be upset when you dont recieve it in a couple of weeks.

Many companies are experiencing high volume orders, be patient and they will fill the orders. You cant expect something the next day especially the way things are now.

I've ordered a few things from them, and have been happy. Except with the shipping. If you do order, make sure to select ups, and pay extra not to have the USPS service called mail innovations. The usps are experts at losing things.

Here's the tracking for the parts kit for my latest build. My lowers have been here, barreled upper arrived today. Both shipped ups.

All I'm waiting for is the lpk, and the USPS has managed to royally screw up the delivery.

Note that this delivery is coming to Colorado, and now is bouncing around Montana after being at my local post office and in transit for 15 days so far. I especially love the estimated delivery date of more than a week ago.

I'm curious- How did you manage that? Out of stock items do not have the "add to cart" button or show the price.
I've had times I would have added an "out of stock" item anyway and just waited...but NO, can't do it.

I have bought several items from PSA including magazines during last years crazy spell and they always came through great. I have no problem recommending them

They are slow to ship but for the price I won't complain. The Blem lower had one letter on the serial number that was stamped bigger than the rest. Got the stripped lower and the LPK for like $79 + shipping. Took 3 weeks to get it.
