Para Ordnance customer service stepped up and came to my rescue today, with such personal service, I am very impressed.
I currently own (3) Para Ordnances, but have purchased 7 in the past - as I have rotated to all alloy frames. I currently have a P-12.45, P-13.45 & a P-14.45 limited purchased in the mid/late 90's, that have not been quite 100% reliable, but are out of warranty. I have been seeking a good Para gunsmith recently. But I also wrote to Para Ordnance. Well, today I received an email from a senior person in the service department from Para, asking me to call him personally.
I talked with this senior person at Para service, and although these firearms are actually out of warranty, he offered to basically fix all of them - for free. He was very polite, generous and concerned about my satisfaction with the Para Ordnance line. They want happy customers, and he has made me one with his offer. He told me to send them all in, and they would make them right - at no cost to me. He assured me he would personally test fire each weapon to ensure they were completely reliable.
He said would personally follow up - and ensure I had reliable firearms when they were returned. He informed me I could call him at any point to check on the status, with any questions to ensure things were moving along at my satisfaction. I was very impressed.
Many of my my co-workers and friends have Para's (MANY Para's), and they all function flawlessly. I know many that are very happy and satisfied with their product. However my case wasn't exactly the same. It may take a little time and effort, but I am completely confident I will also be a happy Para owner also...
I will report back, but I am confident it will be nothing but positive!
Thanks Para!
