Ok So I wondering if anyone has any experience with the Pardini Gt series pistols? Im verry picky about my triggers, and I hear the pardini has one of the best sao 45acp triggers. I know a high end 1911 would be a great gun but what can I say there are just too many of them out there, I want something unusual. Thanks in advance.

I've seen only one Pardini pistol on the firing line. The Pardini reminds me, especially in terms of grip, of the Benelli pistols of several years ago. They are touted as competition pistols, so I am sure they are accurate, and at a little over $2000 per copy, I would certainly expect them to be. For sure, your desire for something different would be satisfied. Get one and be the first to give us an in depth report.

I shot a Pardini GT-45 with six inch barrel in bullsye psitol competition for several years. The gun has a superb single action trigger much akin to my Pardini SP 22LR. It was also super accurate and reliable. The only minus was that it had a nasty habit of tossing the fired cases over the gun rather than to the side with some frequency. That was with light loads using 185 gr. LSWC's at ca 720 fps. I should point out that was with an early gun purchased from Don Nygord many years ago. Larry's guns is the current Pardini distributor and they may have solved that particular issue.

I sold the GT-45 when I stopped shooting bullseye and wish that I had kept it for the action pistol shoots. The grip angle of the GT-45 is not as straight as a 1911 but it matched my Pardini SP in 22 , Pardini HP (32 S&WL) in CF. I actually preferred the Pardini grip angle to a 1911 and found the GT-45 to be a very pleasant shooter.
