I am looking at buying a parker hale in a 22-250 from a friend. It has a heavy barrel. I am trying to find some info on It. I'm having a hard time. so please help me. thanks.
The Blue Book (2004) lists a Model 1200 Super Varmint heavy barrel at $525 in 100% condition. This model was discontinued in 1988, it is a 98 Mauser action, possible set trigger. All Parker Hale imports stopped in 1992, Gibbs Rifles took over in the U.S. I think Parker Hale is a cover name, it is probably a generic European 98 action, it is probably a good gun.
I have a very old parker hale in 308, I'm actually selling it. it is old english craftsmanship, it is mirror polished, it is beautiful. And it is sick accurate! if that 22-250 is acc like mine, it will shoot moa with anything it eats, mine does it with almost all milsurp, and I mean touching holes at 100 with s. american, s. african, us , g.b. , australian, you name it. NOT INDIAN, though.
