Hey guys, can anyone provide some clarity if I can keep my loaded Glock in the glovebox while on my way to TX? I'm planning to carry on my person and leave another Glock in the glovebox for storage while on the road.

I currently have a valid Utah CCW and its accepted in both Arizona and New Mexico.

Thanks for your help!

You're good to go in Arizona:

It is unlawful to carry a firearm concealed within the immediate control of any person in or on a means of transportation. This does not apply to firearms carried in a case, holster or scabbard in a means of transportation or a storage compartment, trunk, pack, luggage, or glove compartment of a means of transportation.

Additional note: by Arizona law, a holster is considered a "case", and a "cased" firearm cannot be considered concealed no matter where it is in a vehicle. Legally, you can have a holstered firearm under your seat if you want it. Effectively, this law really only affects to gangbangers who stuff a pistol in their waistband or lay it loose on the seat, while having no effect whatsoever on responsible citizens.
