I’m giving up a the LeMat…So far...you have liked every flintlock pistol on the internet... I believe there is a flintlock pistol in your near future...
so you guys know if they come with flint?
I heard flint is hard to getI don't know but I doubt it. I would think if it did the pic would show it with flint.
$2 to $25Track Of The Wolf has European and French flint.
Width is one thing. Type is the other, French or English seem to be the most common, but there are others. Places like Log Cabin, October county, Gun Emporium, TOW and Dixie all are sources.
alright so you buy flint and shape it, does it come already shaped? and ready to roll?French and English are the best but you can dig up plain old chert and shape it and it will work. Oh yeah you will have to learn how the knap the edges to keep them sharp.
You would be best served not to make that your first flintlock. They can be made to work but are not Pedersoli's best effort and they are very sensitive to flint size. Been there done that no longer own it.
but it looks so cool with the cannon looking barrel. oooh welllYou would be best served not to make that your first flintlock. They can be made to work but are not Pedersoli's best effort and they are very sensitive to flint size. Been there done that no longer own it.

original Queen Ann was a screw in barrel with a forcing cone. So I figure, but I found out, notWhy did you think it was a screw barrel? Those were only used with muff and boot pistols. At least I've never seen a bigger one.
