I ordered 500 bullets for my .30 Luger a month or more ago from Penn. I received a "Thank you for your order" soon after. A few days ago I sent an inquiry to the "President" of Penn. No answer, no bullets.

Anyone else had problems with them?

Penn makes its bullets in batches. Sometimes they arrive quickly, sometimes not,but they always get delivered. He explains the process on his website.....In my opinion the are worth the wait.

What a coincidence!

The other day I was sorting through my reloading equipment (we had moved recently), and I came across two 500 count boxes of Penn Bullets! Picked them up at a gun show years ago; one box is 9mm., the other one is .357. Very good quality bullets, at least they were way back then. I had completely forgotten about them as I haven't had the time to get back into reloading.

I've been waiting four months for some 38 special from another major seller. I can't imagine anyone taking time off from popular calibers to make a "low demand" caliber. I've never dealt with Penn but
I would guess those would be way down on their list.

Recent inquiries regarding shipping times on this forum has introduced me to several bullet manufacturers that were previously unknown to me. I really enjoy finding a "new" company, especially if the following reviews are positive. Supply/shipping are really screwed up right now. I've ordered bullets from companies that had great shipping previously and now are hit or miss but they come through. I've just had to be patient.
