I do this when I notice a good many new names on the board.

It traces he history and practical use of percussion single shots and revolvers and is quite a bit different than anything else on the subject. I would suggest reading the reviews here:

where you can also get the publisher information and ISBN. It is availablee at favorable rates all over the internet but is below the radar of the various book stores. Barnes and Noble has it on line or can order it in your community as can Borders or Hastings Books. The contract is now a year old with one or possibly two years to run. I notice that Amazon has stopped selling the E-Book version but it is still cataloged by IUniverse and several other sellers. The e-book has scalable color pictures but some people have had trouble getting it to download and function.

The weakest point of the book are the pictures which are low tech and not of the same grade as the cover picture. They are nuts and bolts useful and better than they appear here:

Paperback version is moving with regularity while the hardbound sells only occasionally. the book has some following through Amazon.com in The UK, Germany, France, Canada and even Japan.

A very good book indeed and I have an autographed copy from Mike. Thank you Mike. :D
