it´s a .308 "Freigewehr" which must be a competition-style.

Anyway. Watchatink?

that´s 4,23 millimeter on 100meters distance.

..hmmm.... love that barrel.

It´s at 3.000 Euros at the moment!

3k € is rather cheap for a ISSF or CISM grade target Rifle.

a Tanner Rifle will go for up to 4.5k € and they can not make them fast enough right now.

i am suprised how little interest this Rifle generates here.

i mean, that rifle just made a 0.15moa group center to center and the manufaturer gives a guarantie that it is repeatable.
heck and it is not even a expensiv Rifle for the purpose it was built for.

so, why is it that there is so little interest?

its sad that the USA lacks so far behind in CISM and ISSF when regarding shooting.
looking at the results of the last CISM world military shooting championship, the USA male team did medicore at best. :/

because even though I can appreciate the workmanship, and tooling, and steel, and engineering and thoughtfulness that went into making this rifle, like most americans looking at this, it is still ugly. it is not classic, it is not beautiful, it is not a work of art, .... well.... maybe for a MOMA museum or show.

I think it looks great, except for the terminator shiny steel components on the buttstock. Very very impressive rifle.

The accuracy of that rifle is darned impressive.

I have shot a couple of prone 300 meter matches. I think the ten ring is 3 cm (about an inch and a quarter) at 300 meters. It is extremely difficult to shoot on that target.

It is also difficult to find 300 meter ranges, and most of the highpower shooters I know are into Across the course or F class.

F class seems to be the growing sport.

So where to you attach the scope and the bipod to this thing?

Folks not into position shooting wouldn't really care for such a free rifle and there are many here that are not into that discipline.

Another factor is the Peter Stahl stuff isn't marketed here much outside of the odd old Springfield Omega and later iterations and some parts and pieces.

Personally, I'd certainly would like to have the rifle myself if it were available here. Looks like they're using an Anschütz 2007 stock for the platform (as oppose to the 1907 which is for round receivers). The big empty space in the grooved band on the stock being the regular place for the Anschütz name.

So where to you attach the scope and the bipod to this thing?

I'll bet the groove on top of the receiver is 13mm and the bi-pod can clamp into the (recessed) rail under the forearm (as I'm sure you're aware).

ISSF or CISM does not allow Scopes or bipod.
normaly you get a hooded front sight with a rear dioptor, sometimes with color filters.
the entire sight montour is often offset to the left/right depending on preference and a anti-mirage strap is added if you do rappidfire or shoot in the cold.

Truly incredible accuracy.

CISM/ISSF is another example where US sporting tastes diverged from European (NASCAR vs F1, football vs soccer/futbol, etc). Most top US shooters seem to gravitate towards NRA High-Power, National Match, F-Class, 3-gun, etc.
