an 8-9 shot .327mag revolver.

Ruger makes the Blackhawk in an 8 shot .327mag and the GP100 in a 7 shot .327mag. They're both available now and I thought the price was decent on the Blackhawk. I'm thinking about ordering a pair. It's a pretty easy conversion to rebate the cylinder for moon clips, then I would have a revolver that could shoot .327, .32H&R, .32long, .32 S&W, and .32ACP with the moon clips. With a conversion cylinder I could also shoot .32-20. Since Ruger made the very pistol I am talking about in .32H&R/.32-20 convertable in the not too distant past, I am hopeful that we will see it again in .327/.32-20. :D

I can only think of one thing I'd like to see made: a modernized c96 Mauser.

Update the grip to something like a K-frame Smith or a Ruger Six Series and make the magazine detachable.

I love the idea of an auto that handles like a revolver. I don't understand why that didn't catch on. A magazine in front of the trigger guard seems a lot more natural to me than trying to cram all those rounds into the grip (creating uncomfortable, swollen grips on many guns--yeah, I'm a revolver guy).

  1. A Ruger LCR 6-shot in .327 Magnum.
  2. A mid-size predominantly alloy frame 3" 5-shot .41 Mag. revolver (for up to Grizzly in Alaska).
  3. A .40 S&W whose frame and mags are actually designed for that cartridge SPECIFICALLY (not a 9mm or .45 first) to minimize size and maximize capacity IN that gun. SAME for .38 Super.

1. Stainless Ruger Blackhawk, 4 & 5/8", .357/9mm Convertible

2. S&W Stainless Model 58 .41 Mag (No Lock, No MIM, Single Piece Barrel)

3. .45 ACP Luger PO-8 Stainless (that works reliably)

4. Stainless Upper / Alloy Reciever S&W Model 39-2 9mm (with wood grips)

5. 9mm Makarov Walther PPK/S with Tennifer-like finish

6. Modernized Webley MKVI topbreak .44 Special, 4", MKI birdshead grips

7. Colt Agent/Cobra alloy 6-shot revolver in 9mm, rust resistant subdued finish

8. S&W M66 No Dash .357 K-frame; 2.5 inch (exactly as originally made)

Hell...pick two.

Walther PPK in 9x19mm instead of .380ACP. Beautiful gun, for if Ruger can jam the .380 in the LCP then Walther should be able to put 9mm in the PPK.
It would either have to have a slide that weighs more than an entire .380acp PPK/S, a recoil spring that wouldn't compress under Rosie O'Donnell's bulk, or both.

It's just not going to happen, because it CAN'T.

A Kel-Tec P-11 made by and using the firing mechanism of Glock.

Marlin Guide Gun pistol in .460 S&W.
