Consider a used safe from a dealer's store. People will often trade up a too small for their needs high quality safe for a larger one. That could be a good deal for you!
Amsec and Sturdy are good brands, while Liberty and many other of the better knowns have models that are all over the spectrum so study the specific models to know what fits your expectations.
Having a burglar alarm in conjunction with a safe is an excellent idea (actually it's pretty darned important)
FWIW I refuse to have an electronic lock, but that is my personal preference.

Be sure get one with the reliable rotary combination dial. Or else you will likely spend another $300.00 for one to replace the unreliable electronic lock. I got mine fixed for that amount by paying cash and without getting a ticket.
That is what it cost me a couple of years ago to replace the electronic lock mechanism and keypad on mine. It is truly just a fancy locking cabinet that keeps idiots, little children, and honest folks out.
I'm not going to name a brand but I got mine at Tractor Supply and unloaded it with the tractor and forks when I got it home. It is not safe in my hop, I'm no expert either.

I bought two at Tractor Supply on sale and gave them to my kids. It was a "something is better than nothing" move because I knew they weren't going to get one anytime soon, mostly due to money restraints. They need to upgrade in the future.

Someone familiar with breaking concrete will end the security of floor bolts, and can do it fairly quickly. Now all they need is a heavy duty pallet jack and most are gone.

I have a Liberty, if I had the extra coin I would have sturdy or better. My "collection" isnt rare or valuable, most of the idiots who would go after mine arent that smart by definition.

Watch a crew breakup and haul away an old drive way or patio. Watch the crew that brings your safe and imagine that in reverse.

Have insurance to cover all.

We have a Liberty Centurion. It's not The Best Gun Safe In The World but it's adequate to our needs. The most important part of this post is that we took our time and kept an eye on a buy &sell page on Facebeast and ended up buying one used from an Air Force officer who was on his way to SHAFE. We paid 325$ for a 600$ safe.

I have extra security features added externally to my safe.
It is in the basement.
In order to attack the safe with a saw, they would first have to spend a half hour moving the junk around it away so they could work on it. If they wanted to bring a pallet jack in, figure another hour to clear a path from the door over to the safe.
