Okay, 850 rounds left........
but still considering your circumstances, not bad shootin'
Dental work su&*(, hurts.
I really enjoyed shooting the gun. The trigger reset is a little spongy and will take a little work to get used to it. It would have been more fun if it hadn't been so hot.
I just finished cleaning it. Take down is very simple. I'm not sure what finish is on the barrel but it's nice. It cleaned up very easy and the outside shows no wear. The slide also cleaned up easy.
If I have time this weekend, I may go to an indoor range to shoot.

Looks like the slide is ready for optics ? I've had my eye on one for that reason ? Do you know the difference between the P320 and the M17 variant other than color ?

The M17 is per cut for the RMR sight and has a manual safety. The finish on the slide is the same as what is on the military guns.
I have never been a big fan of Sig. They make good guns but what I have seen over the last few years is that a lot of the new guns have issues after they are released. But Sig has been good about addressing the issues.
I think Sig has gotten all the bugs out of the P230 series.
There are allegation in a lawsuit right now that the P230 can fire out of battery. But they are only allegation in a lawsuit. One guy is claims his weapon has fired out of battery twice and has been damaged. I don't think the lawsuit will hold water.

Gunny there is an small slide down in the quality by Sig since
if I don't recall wrong the ex-CEO Kimber took over flooding the line up with new models as fast the could to catch up the big market.
Sig in the past mostly aim for Gov / LEO market if I'm wrong please correct me.
Nowa days everyone is churning new models faster than ever.
Since, duration of market is unpredictable.

And I thought 30.00 was a lot for a m&p40 mag, I bought some for the 45- 10.00 ea buying 6 at a time, when the CMP had them GI 1911 mags were 8.00 ea, is there that much difference in quality to justify 49.00 ea?
