I posted a deal a couple weeks back on a sub $200 Turkish semi shotgun that I ordered. Well today I finally got to pick it up.

Seems well built just like my other Turkish shotguns. Not sure how I feel about the big rubber grommet on the charging handle. I'm showing a pic with and without it. Let me know what you think.

Another pic is with another 18.5" Turkish pump for reference.

If this thing runs its going to replace the pictured pump as the general "keep around the house" shotgun.

Oh, its also definitely getting a RDS. :)

Will update....

Large charging handle doesn't bother me a bit. Aesthetically they are really good-looking guns to my eyes...lots of smooth contours. What's the brand?

For House/SD I would keep the larger charging handle in place. Much easier to manipulate when you get all kack-handed under stress.

I agree technically but aesthetically I just can't get over the crap look. And its really not that hard at all to rack it without the grommet.

I may try dipping it in some of that rubber thats used for tool handles and such, like socket wrenches. But really I don't even think that's truly needed.

I spent the afternoon playing around with it, with and without the grommet and there's not a big difference, but I get what you're saying.

The 18.5" pump is a Dickinson brand. My new semi is branded as Eternal.

They are both Turkish imports. The pump I've had for a couple years. I also have another Dickinson pump field gun that I've had for a couple years.

Both of the aforementioned pumps have been flawless.

You sure that rubber thing isn’t just to prevent the CH from punching through the box?

Honestly I don't know lol. You might be on to something there.

It does come off easy enough.

It looks like its pictured in the for sale ad but who knows. It is a Turkish import after all.

I don't think I would keep the charging handle. But' To each his own.
My grandson has a couple Turkish shotguns. Seems to be dang good for the price. I have a Turkish Sar b6 handgun and I love it. It's a dang good dependable shooter.

Looks like a fine shotgun to me. Get out and shoot it and then have as much fun as you can and report back with more pictures and information.

If it test well it will be a wonderful home defense weapon. The Turks are making very nice stuff. I just picked up a set of Turkish grips for my S&W 617 and they feel great. They look beautiful and the price was much better than other grip makers.
