What's the forum's view on this ? Steel through and through. I intend it solely for plinking, and also intend on purchasing the .32 S&W conversion cylinder. I just like the looks of this particular BP revolver.

I believe you are referring to this revolver and conversion cylinder:

My thoughts: I don't care for spur trigger guns. $600+ just to plink with .32 S&W ammunition seems to be much more than I would spend. These little guns seem to get lost in my hand.

Be advised that the cylinder seems to work well with the steel frame revolvers, but the arbor on the brass frame versions seems to be a bit larger in diameter than the cylinder arbor hole (read the fourth review on the Midway site).

Regards,

Jim

Edit: I found a cheaper one for you:

Yes. That's the one. Who knows, I might stick w/ BP.

Whatever trips your spur trigger! Just be sure to post photos. That is a prerequisite around here. I am sure it will generate some opinions!

I like mine with the conversion cylinder. I seldom use the black powder one. It's not really good for anything except having fun but I still like it. I got mine at Dixie Gun.

BTW, .32 acp dies can be used to reload .32 S&W short.

I have one, went the whole nine yards. Brass, bullets dies. Thing would not hit the broad side of a barn, from the inside. One problem it seems. 32 S&W is a 311/312 bullet. Lost the front site, bought a new one, lost the loading lever retainer, bought a new one. Sent it off to a gun smith where it languished for almost two years then returned it in unrepaired :( That’s me you may have different results.
