I replaced the Choate folder with a CopStock made by Knoxx. The shotgun (with the stock extended) recoil feels a bit like an SKS. Not too bad.
With the stock folded, it's not too bad either. I can't say it's a 54% reduction in recoil (how would one measure that anyway), but it is substantially less then with the Choate folder.

I haven't tried the one handed grip (as shown in the Knoxx video)...LOL, not quite up to holding a shotgun one handed with my arm extended...guess I've got to start working out!

All in all, a nice conversion...anybody want to but a Choate folding stock?

Yea those are wicked

theres either a Maverick based or a Mossberg based one. The mossy being the more expensive of course. They have a nice tactical leg holster for them too. If money was no object it would be alot of fun to have something like that.

Using the Mossy PGO as a start it's actually a fairly cheap AOW conversion.
