Looking for a fixed 2x scope for an Encore. Leupold used to make a fixed 2x, but I guess they are out of production now? Burris has a 2x, as does Weaver. Opinions? Experiences? Brands to consider? Thanks in advance.
My dad had a few Remington xp100's and xp100r's along with savage strikers all had Burris scopes. Think there the best mix of price clarity durability with a very good warranty.
Sorry to hear that Leupold discontinued that fixed power 2x handgun scope. They are very nice and I thought they would be a good seller. I have one on a 7.5" Ruger Redhawk in 44 Magnum and it is nice. Have you considered a used one? Also; what is your Encore chambered in ? If it's a rifle cartridge I believe Leupold still offers a 2.5-8x handgun scope although it's quite big compared to that nice little 2x .
