That's for me to know and not you!
Love the gun even though I have not fired my own but I want to make some changes to it to and turn it into a SASS/DEER/VARMINT rifle. I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything from this website.

I wanted to get the FOREND with the bipod and the low profile scope mount along with the carry handle. I planned to mount a BURRIS XTR on top when I get these accessories and was also going to change out to the MAGPUL stock.

Suggestions and links or pictures of your own would be great thanks.

These are the direct links to the products.

Robert RTG is awesome. I don't think you will find anyone who says differently. Also be sure to order some mags.I ordered these and after painstakingly going through 104 mags I decided to keep them all. If nothing else you can salvage the springs. I would also grab a NIB locking piece and some spare parts like a firing pin/spring.

Just my personal preference but I would stick to iron sights with the PTR. If a scope suits you then smack a scope on it but for me a scope on a PTR is all wrong. The fact that it has a 18" barrel just makes it worse. That said, I don't really like a scope on any rifle not specifically designed for long range. Close to mid deserve irons.

I've ordered from Robert before, he's a good guy to deal with. You might try it with irons before jumping on the scope; they have good sights.

Buy with confidence from RTG parts.

As far as scopes go, the Hensholdt Fero-Z scope is a great value and was made for this rifle.

Mine wears two sets of clothes: one the old wood stock set, the other the wide forearm with light bipod and a Magpul PRS stock. I use the Magpul for shooting with the scope, and the wood when shooting Irons.

The wood must lighten the rifle by well over 2 pounds, and it just feels good in the hands.

WOW!!! Thanks for all the feed back guys I will definitely be able to buy with confidence from Robert G and I never even thought about getting and EXTRA firing pin/spring.

I saw HKPARTS but they seem to be out of stock on things..

ACOG sounds like a great idea do you have any suggestions on what model?

Another positive review for Robert. I buy stuff from him all the time, never had a single problem.

Good source for mags too. I bought a bunch of his used alloy mags, dirt cheap and they have all worked perfectly.
