Double-stack CZs and BHPs hardly qualify as "slim grips,"

Huh?

I have medium sized hands and the BHP grips have never struck me as being too large. The CZ grips are a little bigger, but only buy a tiny bit. The Beretta 92's grips are a little larger than both, but they have never struck me as too large either....Honestly I can't see how the HP or CZ grips would be "too large" for any guy's hands that are medium sized...

I know I'm not smoking crack here, but I have to wonder if someone else is when they describe BHP grips as possibly being "too large" for a normal size dude.

I've decided on the S&W 5906TSW 9mm.

It's the only semi-auto that I could find that looked good to me. Be of all stainless steel construction, have a 10 round capacity, and have a manual safety.

The accessory rail; I could get removed and the magazine disconnect is something I'll just accept. It's not all that slim, but the medium sized frame seemed to fit my medium sized hands well.

Beretta 92FS would have just been too big for me and still only held 10 rounds since I'm in CA. The compact type M version seemed just as big in the slide, only slimline and didn't make sense since it only held 8 rounds. I did consider the BHP DA since many recommended the BHP SA, but I haven't read enough good things on the DA version and it lacked a manual safety. The Kahrs were DAO and like SIGs lacked manual safeties too. I also could never get myself to like the look of the CZ.

I've been going through all the old postings on the 5906 and have read nothing but good comments on it. Not much on the TSW version, but it's supposed to be improved over the reguar 3rd generation models. I hope that I won't be dissapointed since the TSWs aren't cheap.

I got the S&W 910s(aluminum frame): I've had it almost a year and it's a "10".....so, the 5906 must be a "12"...I also have a full-sized CZ 75B which is a bit heavier, but I've gotten used to the lighter feel of the aluminum framed 910s -- and, I haven't had one malfunction.

Rock Island Armory Milspec .45: All-steel (no MIM/plastic parts or 2-piece bbls), hardchromed bbl, good fit/finish/trigger right out of the box, reliable & accurate, takes 8+ rd mags, what's not to like for less than $300?
