Hello.

I had no luck trading it off, so I have decided to try and sell it.

It is a Winchester 94AE .30-30. Less than a box of rounds fired through it, and it has a small hairline scratch on the reciever, and a birdshot sized, but shallow, dent on the stock. Everything else is virtually 100 percent.

About how much should I sell this rifle?

Thanks!

First of, just my opinion.

Does this have a safety?

If it does, more or less $350 depending a little on the fit, finish and wood.

Presafety, (I can't remember if any of the AEs were presafety) would be more. Maybe around $400-500.

Again, this is my opinion only. You may get lucky and find the right guy/gal to buy this for up to $100 more than I quoted and you might have to accept $300-$325 for it. Depends a little on where you are also.

its gonna depend on your area, too... in some places, lever guns don't have a strong market, and the 30-30 has a shallow following - meaning even $300 will be really tough to get. in other places lever guns and 30-30's are the tools of the gods themselves, and $500 wouldn't be out of line.
