Hello, everyone!
Some time has passed since I've posted here after buying my first revolver (S&W 640-1) as I got my CCW permit here in Latvia (Baltic states, Europe). A lot has happened since so I haven't been too active either with my S&W or in the forums.
Recently I bought myself a used Maverick 88 Security 18,5" (5+1) 12 gauge shotgun in a decent condition for 120$ (which is super cheap here considering that, for example, Winchester SXP models go for around 500$ here, although new Mossbergs are not sold I believe Maverick 88 should go for around 350-400$ new here, if they were sold). Still haven't fired it but hopefully will soon (pic below).
The shotgun came without swivels and a sling. Have been trying to find swivels, but no luck locally as shotguns are not really popular here for hunting, at least not pump shotguns. No luck in European online shops either. I've found the usual Uncle Mike's type of removable attachment for rear, but I'm having no luck with the front. I noticed that my shotgun has a thread in the underside of the attachment where the barrel is fixed at the end of the magazine tube (not sure how that part is called correctly), but I found out that there is actually a part that should exactly fit it and it is called "Mossberg Q.D. Stud". It is cheap and I would love to have it but the problem is that there are no US online shops that will ship it to Latvia, and few of the shops I've found that will ship to Latvia have huge shipping costs that take the total $ equivalent the $ needed to purchase a brand new set of Uncle Mike's attachment set with the magazine cap attachment (not sure the number, but hopefully you understand what I'm talking about).
Anyways, was wondering, is there someone here who could help me with acquiring this product ("Mossberg Q.D. Stud") and shipping it to me in a usual letter envelope (I presume it would fit nicely and should not cost a lot to ship)?
I would of course pay for the part as well as shipping if we can understand that the costs are reasonable in comparison to the aforementioned Uncle Mike's set.
Thanks!
