Please recommend a nice lightweight stock for an SKS (Yugo)

Choate is better than the rest. It is well made and fits better than the ATI stocks I have seen. The Choate Monte Carlo feels good while the ATI feels akward. The Dragonov Choate SKS stock is also better than the ATI Dragonov.

I have an ATI ultra light folder stock on my Chinese SKS that is O.K. The ATI folders are good and compare well to the Choate in feel and qaulity. I think the ATI folder is the lightest SKS stock out there but I am not sure. The one I have is so light that it even makes the Chinese SKS feel muzzle heavy and I don't even have a bayonet on mine! I can't imagine how muzzle heavy the Yugo would feel with an untra light stock on it.

Another voate for Choate! :D

I've got the standard sporter stock on mine, and I'm very happy with it. A lot lighter than ATI without a doubt.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. How's the Choate folding stock?

I was looking on Ebay for one and forgot you can't sell that stuff on there anymore :cuss:

ATI Draganov warning

I have one and the two things that are problems are as follows

1. To get to the recoil spring you will have to remove the action from the stock

2. it is quite nose heavy in this config.

on the good side the cheek piece is adjustable and will accomade see through scope mounts.
