Today I am the proud father of a Sig 239. I have been carrying a Sig 229 IWB for some time now with a regular IWB Kydex holster. Since summer is comming I want to tuck my shirt in with the 239. If you have a tuckable holster for this gun, what brand is it and how do you like it? There are so many out there with this holster conundrum. I want to get the right one.

I use a Comp-Tac C.T.A.K. IWB holster and could not be happier with it.
I covered the back of the holster with moleskin for added comfort.
I highly recommend the Vclips. When combined with a velcro lined belt the holster is rock solid and damn near invisable.
I've carried my 1911SC in it in everything from shorts to suits.

The Wilderness will line any of their belts for you for about $12. I primarily use an Instructor belt. The Beltman also makes lined belts specifically for this holster in top grade leather for a very reasonable price.

I use the comp-tac's also...one for 1911's and one for J-frame's...work great.

thanks,

How easy is it to take on and off. Every time I get in my car I just unclip the IWB holster (sig 229) I have and put it next to me. It take about a second, or else it become uncomfortable when driving.

Tucker Gunleather.

I have their Texas Heritage for my 1911 and my G22. Easy on and off, very comfortable and secure, and both guns just go away under a dress shirt. I can see patients all day in my office without the guns being noticed.
