I shot some 55 grain PMP .223 ammo yesterday.
I bought 1,000 rounds of it a few months ago and finally got around to seeing how it shot in my Essential Arms J-15 (AR-Clone).

I was sighting it in starting at 25 yards. The J-15 ran well with it, and the as far as I could tell at 25 yards was accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

I need to shoot it at 100 and 200 yards and see how it does there. Then, later in the summer, maybe an NRA Highpower match.

I hadn't shot the J-15 much recently. I'm glad I got out with it.

FWIW, PMP (the new production stuff with the Gazelle on the box) is the most accurate production ammo I have found for my SAR-3 (AK in .223).

I can get about 2MOA with it when my barrel is cool. Warm barrel opens it up a lot. You shouldn't have that problem with your AR.

That's the stuff I was shooting. Seems like good ammo.

I had good results with 9mm PMP in a BHP and a Combat Commander also.
It also worked well in a 9mm subgun.

I have also shot PMP 9mm. Good stuff. The South Africans seem to make good ammo. I have also heard good things about South African milsurp ammo, which is made by PMP.
