Hi,
I would seriously consider the Kahr PM9. The gun is light enough for concealed carry, not unpleasant to shoot and available at most gun stores or shows. On the down side, they're expensive, also you must train yourself to keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire. The pull is very light and smooth. I've owned a P11 and couldn't adjust to the heavy and long trigger pull. Go for the Kahr if it is within your budget. Good luck

Both push the limits of a pocket pistol.
I would say an Airweight or Airlight S&W revolver in .38 or .357 or a Kel-Tec P-3AT in .380 ACP.

If you want total dissapear in the pocket - the KelTec P32. This little guy is so light but it does just chamber the .32ACP. The Kahr PM9 shoots the 9mm, is light enough, and thin enough, to suggest a serious pocket piece. I have easily pocketed the MK9, although, a bit heavy.
I have the P32 and MK9, but I must get a PM9 in all black one of these days. I think most of the bugs have been worked out, and it really is probably the ideal pocket pistol combining thinness, lightness, and with an effective caliber.

with my cell phone.
- Made in the USA.
- Nickled slide, mag and internal parts = very sweat resistant. Can't say that for the cell phone
- 10+1 rds of Corbon 115gr +P+. They bad guys don't care whether they come out of a Glock or a Kel-tec.
- Night sites.
This replaced my Kahr PM9. I love it!

I've been carrying either a P-11 or a P-40 in a pocket holster for just about a year now. How can you beat 9mm or .40 S&W in such a small package? The Kel-Tec is so light that for most of the day I forget it's even in my pocket.

Not trying to start an argument or anything but why did the Kel-Tech replace your PM9? The PM9 is smaller and has a better trigger. The Kel-Tech does hold more rounds and is less $$$$. But you already had the PM9. Just curious

The Kahr PM9 is a great gun. I can recommend them. But the size was a problem for me. It was too small. The whole gun is 1" thick - it felt unwieldy in my hands, which you would expect from a pocket gun. I could hit well inside 21 feet but not much beyond.
Pocket carry or smartcarry (like thunderwear) are the only carry methods that work well for me. I wanted something that I could carry in my pocket but handled better for me than the Kahr. Thus the P-11 and now, P-40.
I sold the the PM9 and bought two P-11s with the funds, one new and one used.
