Also we build track for the kids. with a back hoe. I am going out to the desert on the 20th. I will shoot everyday out there. DRP racing.net
is the website. I handle security and all the money. Last year we had over two thousand people. Bands, huge bonefire and lots of women. I would be remiss If I did not pass this on too my THR bros.......Stevo...

A shooting Poker Run? hehehe

Do the riders get to carry their guns on their bikes? Damn, I wish I lived out there. I'd be in for sure!

You can do whatever. Most people are armed. But this is a pretty hard 19.9 mile over land race. I dont race with a loaded firearm. I carry when I plot out the course and camp though.

Dirt bikes and qauds, we had 5,500 people this year. Long week. I worked my ass off. Big fight at the bonefire. DRPRACING.net

Sounds like a good time. :)

Too bad I'm on the opposite coast. I'd like to check it out sometime.

Close as we've come to shooting and riding was a friend sitting and chatting in his chair at Katy's kart track after the last Texas Mini GP this year and a .223 round comes flying out of the ether and hits his foot and pokes out the other side. Track is out in the country with houses around. Who knows who shot the bullet, but John had to go to the emergency room because the ambulance had already left for the day. It was after the racing was done. I posted about it somewhere in the achives.

Hey MC, I thought that was you that posted that.

I was looking for that thread to show a friend of mine. He did not believe me
when I told him about it.

Could you post the link for me? He needs an education on falling rnds. I chewed
him out pretty good last time we went to the range when he held my DE .50 aimed
up at the sky. He wasn't trying to be stupid just was not paying attention.
