As I set here recovering from a recent multi-hernia repair I'm 30 or so days out from my next purchase. That purchase will be a NIB G20 Full Size.

I have been working towards this purchase for some time now.

I want a standard G20 Full Size. Nothing fancy at all.

I want to get rid of the OEM barrel and go with aftermarket set up. I will be getting a Lone Wolf 9x25 and Dillion Dies. But what about other manufactures for a standard and 6" barrel? Don't need threads or porting.

Would like to upgrade the guide rod and springs and have complete sets on hand so I can quick change quide rod sets as I see fit. Are there any good sets out there? Or is it better to get extra stock rods and extra springs? Or just go to the Wolf Site and buy guide rods and springs? I plan to shot the G20 hard and with hot ammo. :)

I'm also interested in redoing the trigger group. What is the best trigger group out there. I want to keep the trigger around the 3lb mark. With the ability to control take up and over travel. I would also like the trigger to be metal. Is the Fulcrum trigger the way to go? Or are there other options out there.

I don't want to turn it into a race gun so to speak. But I do want it to be a very good range and combat sidearm.

A basic night site package will be needed also. Nothing fancy.

A nice basic leather holster will be a must. I wont be carrying the 20 at all. So concealment is not needed. Something that would work well at the range and in the woods.

Along with the Dillion Dies for 9x25 I will also be purchasing 40/10mm dies. And everything needed to trim out two complete turrets for my Lee Classic Turret. I will also need to purchase 1k brass and 2k bullets of different weight, more than likely XTP's. Powser is looking like Blue Dot and 800x.

So I'm going to be dropping some coin on this purchase. And I would like to get most of it right the first time. :)

What else am I going to need for this project? What would you buy? Any and all pointer welcome. I've been mock shopping so much the last few months I've kind of got lost in it all.

Thanks for the help

I don't reload yet, but I do have a G20SF.(which I highly recommend over the regular G20. I have a buddy with a regular G20 who much prefers my SF and he's not a small dude by any means)

On it I have a few mods. 3.5 lb LWD Connector, I did a .$25 trigger mod, added a Glock slide stop with the extension, A Wolff 22lb recoil assembly(I highly recommend this for hot loads) and then I got a LWD 6" 9x25 Dillon barrel. So far I've gotten no feeding of ejecting problem. The only thing I don't like is it puts a small mark on the casing when it ejects. 9x25 Dillon is pretty fun to shoot, but so is high power 10mm. I've shot plenty of nuclear 10mm loads through the factory barrel with no problems. IMO for a SD pistol I would probably stick with the factory barrel, but for target shooting with really hot ammo a aftermarket barrel is probably a good idea.

I also have a Taylor Freelance mag extension on one of my magazines. It feeds 9x25 Dillon great,(never had a FTF with it) but on my gun it don't feed 10mm very consistently.(the round in the middle of the magazine don't like to feed with it)

Anyway the only reason I bought my Glock is because I wanted a 10mm. I was never much of a Glock fan. After owning my Glock for a while now it has become my favorite gun, and that surprises the hell out of me when I compare it to say my Colt CE. Honestly I'm very fond of all 3 of my handguns, and I trust them all and think they're all great guns. I plan on never getting rid of any of them, and there are things I like better about my 1911, and CZ 75 than I do my Glock but when I add everything up my Glock just edges the other two out a little bit as to which gun I prefer. The 10mm does help the Glocks case greatly I will admit as 10mm is easily my favorite semi-auto round.

I highly recommend a G20SF. I love mine.
