Well, this is my "other" .45, the one that gets shot the most.

Now, how do I edit my old post? Too old? (#270)

It is nothing special, but this is my .45 and some junk I carry.

1911%20Carry.jpg

1. Wallet (Bought in Mexico.)
2. Galco holster (Gunshow purchase)
3. SA 1911 (Birthday present)
4. Spare mag (old Pachmayr)
5. Keys (Too many!)
6. One of my old pocket knives. (Case)

Some may notice that the holster is actually too short. It is actually for a shorter Glock but works OK for my 1911.

My Three Sons (Kimbers)

I have several other 45acp handguns. However, I like my Kimbers best. An early stainless Custom with Carbon Creation grips. A Pro-Carry CDP II with Kimber rubber grips. An Ultra-Carry CDP with Carbon Creation grips.

45

It's not flashy and pretty like a newer 45 and it doesn't have all the features, but it is reliable and accurate. It is a 1938 ballister rigaud. 3 digit serial number. I have had colts, kimbers and springfields. This is the one I kept. It has never let me down. It shoots anything I can put in a magazine. Replaced all the springs about a year ago thats it.

Well, I've posted my two autos in this thread...but here's my latest...

Could've sworn I posted these before, but I can't find them in searching my posts. I guess they deserve a spot here, anyway...

I have previously owned many .45acp handguns:
Sig P220ST
Sig P245
Kimber Custom TLE II
Springfield GI WWII Champion
Springfield Compact
Springfield Ultra Compact
Colt 1991
They are now only memories but they have all made it easy to move up to another level of .45acp handgun.

My current pair that will NOT be sold or traded are Wilson CQB's Full Size & Compac.:

And as a backup gun to the Wilson's........a Taurus PT-145 Millennuim Pro.

45's

first is Daly 3.5" 1911.... not overly expensive but still a good shooter even if the recoil is "hefty".

Second isnt 'acp' but it is a .45 nonetheless. :neener:
