Powder dispensers? Pros and cons?

I have the RCBS chargemaster supreme and while it is spendy, it works extremely well. You need to warm it up 20-30 and calibrate. It really speeds up the loading process.

One other thing to consider is that I primarily, almost exclusively, load for handgun cartridges. So, we’re talking about 5.5±0.2 gr or maybe on the high side 13.0±0.2 gr charge weights. Rifle charges would be far less sensitive to the ±0.2 errors.

For handgun cartridges measuring by volume has always worked well for me. Either straight out of my Harrel's or my Dillon 550 with only an occasional safety spot check on a my 10-10. I'm pretty picky about rifle so I drop out of a Harrel's and trickle up on my 10-10. Not saying anything bad about electronic measures or measuring equipment but I retired from the machinist trade this spring and the reliability of the electronic measuring tools, regardless of brand, has made me loose trust in them.

I have an older Lyman 1200 that works well it's slow. An auto disc or even ppm measuring volume is way quicker.
