Ok, what is the easiest way to do this. I have not started reloading yet but have most of the "stuff". I have the Lee 4-hole turret and would like to mount the powder measure to it somehow. I have seen a die for this purpose I am just wondering if this is the easiest way to go about it. I really don't want to mount the powder dispenser to the table because my goal is to complete 1 round at a time. After the deprime, size, prime steps.

I'm not sure what you want to do is really worth all the trouble. I use a Lee 3-holer and I've toyed with that idea and more. I rigged an automatic primer feeder on it that worked but was a bit of kludge to use. I mounted one of the Lee Perfect Powder Measures on a Lee rifle charging die and it worked too, but again, it wasn't really worth the trouble.
When I load pistol ammo, I really like the auto-indexing feature and use it to turn out a lot of ammo in a short time. When loading rifle ammo though, the auto-index wants to turn the turret before the case is clear of the die, making things bind up and come to a grinding halt. I'm told that this isn't a problem with shorter rifle cartridges though, so you may be ok.
I don't load much "blasting" ammo, having been bitten by the long-range target bug. So I generally use my turret press more like a single stage press but with all the dies pre-set. I de-prime the cases and then tumble them. Then I clean the flash-holes and prime the cases with an Auto-Prime. The old, tried and true Perfect measure still cranks out loads within 1/10 of a grain all day long, so I use it to charge the cases and then make that final check with a flashlight to see that they all have the right amount of powder in them. The final act is seating the bullets after which I go out shooting so I can start all over again.
I'm not a great believer in automated loading, but if I were I think I'd just go ahead and buy a Dillon. Those who own them swear by them. Me? I like Lee.

When I load rifle using my 3 hole Lee turret I use a loading block and charge all of the rifle cases in the block. Then I remove the indexing shaft and use the press as a single stage.

Basically
1. prime clean, trimed and inspected cases using The Lee Auto Prime II mounted in it's own turret adaptor.
2. Place all primed rifle cases in the loading block.
3. Weigh every powder charge on a RCBS Electronic scale and funnel each charge into each case.
4. With the indexing shaft removed and the bullet seating die and Lee FCD in a turret adaptor mounted in the press, I seat the bullet, manually index the turret and crimp using a Lee FCD. (I don't crimp .30-06)
5. Measure for OAL (adjust if necessary), label and box-em up.

That's half of the fun...Then I get to shoot them and start all over again... :D

powder measure on lee press

I dont know why you think it [mounting a powdermeasure on a press] is so much trouble. The caliber you are reloading has a specified "charging die" to go with the Lee autodisc powdrmeasure and mount it to the press.

Mount the lee autodisc powdermeatusre onto the press with the charging die in between. It is caliber specific because your up stroke causes the cartridge mouth to push a hollow internal tube upward to actuate the actuating the the powdermeasure to dump.

The charging dies caliber specificity is also because the lower end of the tube (inside the charging die) bells the case mouth on the upstroke

This action speeds up the reloading process, belling the case mouth and then charging the powder into the case with one stroke

It also eliminates the need for use of a hole in the turret for a Lyman M-die which is another way of belling case mouths

I recommend it strongly and it speeds up the reloading of pistol and small rifle cartridges very much

The lee autodisc works on other presses too,but because of toolhead design differences you'll hafta experiment with charging die selection...Lee will advise you on which to select by caliber for your application

I agree with Yodar. I have a lee turret as well. I have the lee perfect powder measure mounted on a universal charging die. What I did not do was link it with the chain, since the turret is actually not large enough to auto-index with longer rifle cartridges. I rotate the turret manually. My turret setup is neck sizer (with the decapper removed), followed by charger, bullet seater and an optional factory crimper. So far it's worked very well for my setup.

The only thing I do outside of the turret setup is priming. I find handpriming in batches after case cleaning, sizing and lubing more efficient.
