in part ,pretty much for the same reason a long drop tube is used . it should slow things down , eliminating bridgingCan't say I've ever seen a powder funnel like the one you are describing.
May I ask why you want one?
I have had bridging problems using some extruded powders in small rifle calibers.
I individually weigh each charge and pour it into the funnel. (Not 'dump') Doesn't always work 100%, but it seems to help.

thats why i have oneA long drop tube doesn't eliminate bridging, it allows better packing of the powder kernels in the case for those fluffy powders like Blue Dot...

I have some Hardcore powder funnels and they are the best I've ever used. I think they changed names but these are the newer ones. The improved funnel is what I'm refereeing too. The older models where caliber specific. They worked in all conditions, never a cling, clog or static problem.

I Like my Saturn funnels. It looks like little ribs on them but I dont know it they help swirl or not.
yes thats what i discovered as well . i just want the powder to swirl with out tiring so hardI use both a Lee or RCBS funnel. I cut the bottom of the Lee off to accommodate shorter brass casings ln a loading block. I find that if I pour a scoop of propellant at the outside edge of either funnel it slides down, sorta swirls and never bridges. Drop it in the center and it may bridge though. To me it is in the technique I use. Just sayi'n.

Yes but it doesn't fit a Lee powder-through expansion die.RCBS makes a funnel that has changeable diameter case holes ....and a long drop tube .....makes it pretty easy to match one that stops bridging and the long drop tube helps with compressed loads....
About $20 or less
Why not make an adapter out of nylon. Are you vertical limited?Yes but it doesn't fit a Lee powder-through expansion die.
I tried using a lathe to reduce the diameter of an extension tube for the green funnel so it would fit a Lee die and it shattered the instant the tool made contact. Almost like it was committing Seppuku.
No, gave up on green and got a red funnel. Cheaper than the time it would take to make something. This was quite a while ago I tried using the green funnel in the powder through. Why not make an adapter out of nylon. Are you vertical limited?
That's the smart way to go. Guys with tools and 3d printers will sometimes make something even though it's not the economically wise move. No, gave up on green and got a red funnel.
