Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this part of the forum.

I've been reloading for years. I've a Dillon 550B. Since I do CAS, I reload mainly 45 Colt on it. I've also reloaded 45-70 on it.

I also reload using a Lee single-stage "C" press. Mostly, I do my hunting loads on it.

I'm looking at finding a powder measure that I can put on my single stage for charging the cases. I would like the powder measure to be activated by the ram. IE, I would like the case charged automatically.

What measure would you all recommend for this? And, if I may, why?

Thank You,
U.C.

Ummm, where would you put the bullet seater while the measure was mounted? There`s only room for one tool at a time on a single stage.

I wouldn't. I would do everything one stage at a time. 50 deprime and resize. 50 charge (powder measure). 50 Seater. I would change dies as I go. I'm just looking for a powder measure recommendation that I could put on the single stage press to do stage two of the three stage process.

Recommendations? Lee? Hornady? RCBS?

Lee make powder measures that work through a die inserted at the die station. I like the Perfect Powder Measure for extruded powders, seems to work pretty well, although it doesn't fare as well with the ball powders.
