and will update the web site at 5:15 CDT tomorrow. Ah 10 million primers, wonder how long they will last?

10 million primers is only 1000 orders of two sleeves of 5000 or 2000 orders of one 5000 sleeve.

There are a lot of reloaders (definitely more than 2000) who have been waiting for primers/are in need of primers so 10 million primers could go fast.

Yeah the 7.5mil they got in last time were gone in less than an hour I believe. Powder Valley probably isn't the only place gettin them in though. Last time PV put some on their site at least 4 other online retailers did so the same day. PV is still limiting orders to 10k I believe and I believe any orders for more than that are being cancelled immediately. In other words, don't try to cheat their system.

So they received 10 million primers and won't list them until tomorrow, then get overrun with orders---don't make sense to me---just sayin.

In the past they have said that they don't list them the day they come in because the more or less don't trust the shipping invoice. They physically go through what came in and get an accurate count of the sleeves/boxes. The way things are going I won't matter when they post them, they'll be overran by orders. At least this way they have an accurate count and can cut off orders before they oversell.

The limit is on the facebook page, along with the info on the primers coming in. If you order too many, they will cancel the order later. It will take in their system, then they will send it to the circular file.
The last time they got primers, you had 1.5 hours to order spp before they ran out. So they sold quick, but they werent overwhelmed. Fwiw, my order of primers from that batch is set for delivery wednesday.. about a month after the order was placed.

Tula Primers: We received in more Tula primers. We will update the website at 5:15 CDT Tuesday, May 21 with the items that are available. There is a limit of 10k primers per item ordered. We will have approximately 10 million primers available for sale.

AM or PM?
I would assume AM.

10k limit plus hazmat and shipping = not for me. Makes it to much money and I can wait it out for a lot longer. I also don't get the updates of what's coming in and when. They're not hurting for sales so just put them on the site and they will sell. And if there's a limit it should be on the website. There are plenty of people like me that want nothing to do w/ Facebook.

But there are plenty of people who do (remember the shift from written mail to email?) and more and more manufacturers/vendors are using FB/social media to communicate with their customers to announce/alert popular items that are in stock.

Here's an update to the above post from PV FB page.

This round of primers will only be sold via the website. We will not be taking phone orders during the time they are available. PM

So which of the three Tula 223 cal primers is best suited for 223 in an AR - the 223, 223M or 556M?

I believe KVB223 is their standard SRP. KVB223M is their SR magnum primer. And KVB556M are their primers intended for rifles with free floating firing pins. But I've had no trouble running the KVB223M in ARs. Most handguns I've used CCI 400 primers in will set off the CCI 400's but they won't set off the KVB223M primers of, not on the first strike anyways. I take that to mean that the KVB223M have harder cups than CCI 400's.

Me too...should have stayed in bed.

EDIT: Update...According to their FB comments, scheduled time is 1715 CDT today.

I believe they said they are receiving the Tula primers today.

I would venture a guess that only after they check the stock into inventory will it appear on the website for sale. I am sure they are talking about 5:15pm, after they receive the shipment, unpack it, and put it in inventory.
