I saw that Power Custom has a free spin pawl for Ruger old model 3-screw actions. It allows the revolver to be put on half-cock and turn the cylinder in either direction.
Man this would be great on an ROA where you have to twiddle with lining up the loading ram and then further twiddling required to cap it. The ability to spin the cylinder back and forth would be even more of a help on an ROA than it is on a single action.
So I wrote Power to see if it fits...I'll let you all know. I'm know of no reason that it shouldn't fit. I suspect the internal workings of the ROA are pretty much the same as the single action 3-screw Blackhawk.
