Thought this might get more hits here than in the "Autoloaders"
section...
I just purchased a .380 Walther PPKs for a very good price from someone that was having "issues" with the gun. (Limp Wristing).
I think he'd tried to take the piece apart at some point, because when I got the gun home and was inspecting it, I noticed that the loaded chamber indicator would extend out the back of the slide quite a ways when the pistol was tilted muzzle up. There was no owner's manual with the gun and I am not having much luck finding any diagrams online.
Could someone tell me how the chamber indicator pin and spring is supposed to be oriented in the slide? Also, the spring has one end that the wire extends out from the coils and I am not sure where that end is supposed to sit in the channel of the slide, or if the long, (extended), end of the spring is supposed to engage something in the slide to keep the indicator pin from over-extending out the back of the slide.
Thanks for any help
