Well, if anyone was interested in my premade cartridges, I'll throw some pics up here for help's sake.

First, I select a sticky note, which happens to be 2x the size needed to make a cart. tube, after halving it, I attach a little bit of masking tape. paper tape is important, because it rips.

Roll around selected roller, (little hammer for me, perfect diameter) then fold in one end:

Then insert ball followed by wad. (not pictured)

Tamp wad to seal the tube around the ball:

Then pour in the carefully measured powder from a powder measure: (here it is, poured already)

Next, fold the empty portion in half, with a locking fold as shown:

Then add to your little tupperware of cartridges:

Then, to use, unfold, dump powder into cylinder, pinch out wad and ball and poke into cylinder, apply cap, fire away. (might want to use something like this: )

Hope you guys enjoy, and maybe you can use it. Its a heck of a lot easier than taking the whole box o stuff to the range. All I take is the tupperware and the pistol. (and eyes and ears and targets.)

I like the combustible ones made with cigarette papers for my own use,but these have the obvious advantage of being sturdier, and more portable/durable.

yeah, I saw the cigarette paper ones, which inspired when I went to see if other people had tried this out to any success. those were really cool, except, I have no cigarette paper....I'm going to give this a try with just the rolled charge you can rip and drop in the cylinder with wad and a ball stuck to the top or separate, rather than just inside, seeing the way my wads get ripped to shreds.. I with think and tinker and see if i can make it faster.
It sucks to try to sleep, but tinker I will.

Glad you guys like the idea.

How well do the sticky note papers burn up alnd blow out of the chambers? How about the maskin' tape?
I use Nitrated phonebook pages for paper...for 1859-1863 Sharps .54 cal Papercutter paper carts.
I must say the ones you made look good. I use the Triple Loader from 6Guns4fun at the bench. Or a flask and measurer for the Revs.

Right now I am just adding the contents of the tube to the cylinder, not the tube itself. hopefully, the way the other one may work, it will blow the tube out with the wad and not contribute to fouling. as much.

I may have to invest in a spare cylinder.

by the way:
