Someone I work with wanted to preserve the Hunting knife his father used and gave to him(Top). I had the honor of lightly restoring that knife and its well worn sheath.

I then went one more step and made him the bottom knife and sheath. The blade is W2 full hardness and everything else is sole authorship. My first guard on a knife, my first antler handle and my first butt/pommel (aluminum).

Big learning curve on all of it. Now he can but his dad’s knife safely in a shadowbox and he has a user knife that reminds him of it.
