So my bro-in-law needs money really bad and really quick. He has a Colt Trooper that was passed down to him that he was going to sell. I immediately called to stop him as I knew he would regret it someday. I offered to buy it with the option for him to buy it back when he can - same price. So basically its a loan with a nice revolver as collateral.
Does anyone know what a fair price would be? The gun is in 90-95% condition with original wood grips. I see them on gunbroker for $500-700 but I find gb isnt always a good place to judge the market value on a firearm. Im not looking for what a pawn shop would give him but perhaps what you may see it go for at a gunshow. Thanks in advance.
