A 1966 browning a5 light 12, vent rib, modified choke, wood and blueing at about 80%. Unfortunately the stock has been fitted with a browning recoil pad and it is my understanding that none of the a5's were ever fitted with recoil pads.

I would say $400 to $500 dollars.

Last A5 I bought was a couple of years ago, retail, Belgium light 12, IC, plenty of wear but not abused, $500. Usually I'm seeing higher at gun shows. Sometimes I'm seeing at or over $1K asking price for really clean A5s.

$400 to $500 is in the ball park. A mint one can go for $800-900.
