Im trying to sell my brother in law some primers but ive been out of the reloading game for awhile. Can somebody give me a fair value for 1000 brick of federal small pistol primers? I have seen $40.00 to $109.00.

Thanks

what did you pay for them?

This ^^^ is what I was thinking as well.

Sportsmans Warehouse has had SPP recently for about $6/100, limit 200 per day, don't remember the brand. My local places have them for $90-$130 per brick, no limit at one place and 1 brick limit at the other.

Cheapest price I've seen online for Federal SP primers that are actually in stock is $90/1000.

I've seen these ^^^ for the same or a bit higher. Match primers are certainly more expensive.

No he’s okay, it’s his sister…

Glad I wasn't drinking when I got that or I would have spit it everywhere!

My college roommate gave me 3 bricks of CCI small pistol primers with the understanding that I will return them if/when he needs them. He bought them in the 70s and really hasn’t got back into reloading. They had $10.99 stickers on them.

Personally, if we got along well I would either give them to him or sell them to him for what I paid, or close to it. If we didn't get along I would probably tell a little white lie and claim to be out of them. Thats just me...............

If you aren’t gonna use ‘em, just gift them to him….
If he’s a dude, he’ll probably repay the favor someday..

Yea, but I’m the guy that’s given away 3K primers in the last few months, one to a friend, two to a fellow THR member in need.
That’s more my style. Give them away and put an “Attaboy” in my pocket for later. Versus selling them and never hearing the end of it. The “I coulda’s” start stacking up until he coulda been paid to take off them off the store’s hands but for the cheap skinflint BIL (you!) who charged scalpers prices. All the guys on Alt-Life said so.
No good deed goes unpunished.
