Fella has one in great condition. In the box. .36 caliber. Blued and brass trigger guard. Looks almost unfired. Marked of course Made in Italy. I know little about this gun (meaning value, manufacture history, etc.) so I would really appreciate value advice. Is it a Pietta or an Urberti? Wants $225, and I think he said he'd take $200. What's low dollar for this gun you folks think? Thank you, Don.

The chances are that it will have a smaller size frame and grip than the current Pietta .36 Remington.
Does that revolver have target sights?

It could have been made by several of the manufacturers including Euroarms. The Lyman Uberti .44 Remingtons have somewhat of a following but I can't say the same for the Lyman .36 Remingtons.

Try to find out who made it. But I would be a little more conservative about the price unless you really want a smaller grip and frame.
Between not knowing who made it, it's size and the parts availability, that could represent a price difference and its overall desirability to a buyer.
If it's an Uberti it could require .380 balls, and the Euroarms may need the same, I don't know. But that ball size does need to be mail ordered or hand cast.

Here's a post about one Lyman .36 Remmy that apparently had a defect:

And more discussion about their size in this thread about them:
