Well, that's nice- they finally made an alternative to that ugly "collapsing-style" stock that doesn't collapse.

A functional collapsing-style stock would be usefull if you are wearing body armor or are smaller in size or have short arms.

Well, yeah, of course. I'd want it with a functional one. I just hate "collapsing-type" but fixed stocks.

Skunkabilly, did you add the Benelli M4s90 to your collection? How does it compare to the M1/M3?

Cal's Sporting Armory is selling the Benelli M4s90 for $1,199.00. Who has a better price?

nonbox:

I've been doing the same internet research as you and Cal's price is the best. $1,199.00 delievered.

Andrew & Average Guy:

Thanks! I'm glad you guys digged my Benelli and I'm glad that you could make it out this weekend.

One interesting thing about the M4... the stock is very easy to change out without tools. You just push a captive pin "out of" the receiver, pull out the trigger/carrier group (very easy), then unscrew the stock from the receiver like unscrewing a top from a bottle.

I changed to a standard ("straight") Benelli stock on my CA approved M1014 to comply if I add a larger magazine.

My M1014 ("M4") will easily cycle medium and low power loads. My M3 must have hot loads to cycle. I also prefer the feel of the M1014 over my M3. I love shooting my M1014.

I highly recommend the Benelli M4.
