There's a 25-2 for sale on gunbroker, excellent condition for $475.00, 6" 97% with tight lockup. Is this a good price? Thanks.

Don't forget to add in shipping and transfer fees. Depending on them it might not be so attractive then.

I must be stupid, I can not figure out how to do a search of completed auctions on Gunbroker. Please give me a clue.

Click "Smart Search" under and slightly right under the regular search box. Fill in whatever criteria you want. you dont have to fill in all the boxes.
Under "Show Only" select "Completed Auctions" from drop down list.

You did well in that trade. $475 seems about right these days. A friend paid $565otd 2 years ago for a 6 1/2" barreled version.

$475 is about right.

I sold mine a couple of years ago. It was the 6 1/2" bbl marked 1950 not 1955. It was an excellent shooter. I had it for many years, it was just too big. I found myself going to the 1911s.

Is the 25-2 as advertized? How's it shoot?

excellent shooter, great trigger but it has to be kept clean. I reload and I am sure my reloads are sub-standard some time. With factory ammo I am sure it would do better.

Just looked at that 25-2. Though the current bid is $475, the reserve hasn't been met. I'm thinking $650 or so, at least.
