My experience using the Aquila and Servicios Aventuras small pistol primers did not go well. Hand priming no problem. The issue was using them on a Hornady Progressive press. The Aguila do not seat properly, too high. The other ones seem to not operate the primer slide correctly. Too much bother to ever buy again for an AP press. Now I know why there available. Just my two cents. Too make sure it wasn’t the equipment setup I ran 100 CCI through it no problem. Anyone else run into problems?

I haven't gotten ahold of any of those yet, Still using old Winchester primers from a long time ago.
Did order some of the new Winchester Red box primers and I'm anxious to see if they are better or worse than the blue box.

I just got 2k of the SA spp. I will look out for seating issues, thanks.

Stay safe.

I use Aquila primers on a LNL, so there are couple things you can do.

1. Use Hornady One Shot case lube; put the cases in a gallon plastic bag added a couple of sprays and let dry. Helps on the hole process.

2. Check that your primer seater punch is going deep enough. You can add a penny or a dime to help this.

3. You can add the handle from inline fabrication for more leverage.

They will definitely work loaded over a thousand, but you will need to take your time and check as you go.

The new boxes are just the same Winchester primers in a different box no need to worry.
