Get one of these from Lee. They cost $1.98, small size on one end, large size on the other.

Reloading can get really technical. It all depends how much you really are in to it, how much your will to put in to it, and how much you want out of it. I like the wire brush pocket cleaner and I also use a flash hole uniformer on every single case every time. Every little thing matters and if your like me you will do anything you possible can to make that group a fraction smaller.

i use a small craftsman screwdriver to scrape the pockets out with.... one qiuck turn and all the primer residue is gone.............

My method is to run it through a universal deprimer, tumble it, check it, and leave the depriming pin in the sizing die
