I did it

Ok boys I clean 89 primer pockets.

I put a slot bit in my cordless drill and ran it semi slow it remove all the loose crud that was in there.

I think it did a nice job and its quick to boot.
Thanks to you all because i would never of thought of it with out your input and I did not no how clean they should be.

No need to make the pockets shinny, Just remove the crud...

One other thing that helps when using my "custom" primer pocket cleaning tool. When cleaning pistol/revolver cases I have fifty of them in their plastic box and go at'em. Takes about a minute to do 50 cases.

If you're going through the trouble of manually cleaning a primer pocket you might as well cut the pocket to the correct depth and square-up the bottom of the cup while you're at it.
I use a Sinclair Primer Pocket Uniformer made from solid tungsten carbide and it does a wonderful job. The uniformer can also be chucked in a drill.

I seldom clean primer pockets any more. I simply don't do the kind of shooting that requires it.
