Primer ?

It's been a coupla years since I last reloaded and I'm gearing up for a batch of .38 spec at +p pressure. Danged if I remember for sure, but I believe I want to prime the .38 brass w/small pistol primers. Do I recollect accurately?

That's correct. All the currently manufactured .38 Special cases use the small pistol primer. It's been many, many years since they made them with large pistol primers.
