Primers group buy - where to go ?

Hi guys,

A few guys from the local shooting club are trying to pool resources to get a group buy on primers together.

Looks like the qty will be in the 100k range (split among about 15 people).

We've called Powder Valley and no joy. They pretty much have no interest in dealing. That's OK, not a problem.

Any other suggestions for sources for a group buy on primers ?

Right now, CCI is the preferred primer by most, with Winchester making up the balance.

Federals will work, but they are usually more expensive than the others.

Any suggestions ?

With a quantity like that I would just call CCI, and see if you can't find a rep in the area or purchase directly from them.

I did just that.

The guy just laughed. 100k primers is less than a small drop in the bucket to them.

Definitely Black Hills Shooting Supply.

Send them a 01 or 03 FFL and they'll send you a catalog. They have really good pricing if you order in bulk. They're not a place to buy if you just want a small amount.
