Primers preorder...

I have used 5K from a 15K batch of Unis Ginex SRPs and they have worked fine.

I have 5k LRP but have not used any from this batch.

I did the pre-order for 5k SPP given this is where I project running out first (more than a year from now).

...I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not buying Unis Ginex @ ..what was it, like $115.00 per 5,000 off graf's last year?!

I kept hearing about how some people said they were " a little difficult to seat"...
so I thought, well, maybe I'll pass for now...

..."A little difficult to seat."...

...<sigh.>

Ok, am I missing something on the Armadillo site?
"Rifle Primer"....not large, not small, just "Rifle"...
...yeah, I'm going with the Serbians...

Thanks.....I ordered 2k small pistol primers. I'm not out but this will make me breathe somewhat easier. Of course this is the highest price I've ever paid in my life. Looking for some large rifle primers now. I've way less of them that anything else.

$0.0615 / primer + $0.08 / 124gr RMR + $0.03 powder = $0.1715 / round of 9mm

Given the circumstances surrounding current ammo costs such as $0.60/round + on handgun Ammo if one can find it. $0.0615 / primer doesn’t seem bad at all temporarily.

How many of you would buy 1,000 rounds of 9mm for $175 right now?

Just ordered 1k for my .40 loads. Funds for more would have been nice , but I'm not complaining. Now I just need SRM's Saying 8 weeks est ship time. Thanks for sharing!

Correction on an earlier post.

Regardless of Qty, 1K, 5K, 50K price is .06 a primer. I'm not sure if it was a website malfunction that displayed $4,000 for 50K primers, or an old main brain malfunction. If I was a betting man, I'd wager old man brain malfunction. Sorry 'bout that.

That is probably what these new guys are paying for them and then marking them up almost 200% to sell to ya'll. But hey, $60.00 a brick + shipping/hazmat is still better than gb.

So there is this guy I heard about on the internet, and he has these friends who are Serbian arms dealers... any who, I gave him my credit card information.

What could possibly go wrong?

I ordered 2K with the hopes that Vlad and Miroslav are on the level.
Thanks....This made me laugh, was hilarious. My wifes even laughing now, and she wasn't laughing when I took a risk and bought 5k spp. So I guess thanks twice.

I Googled the address...it’s the USPS bldg in downtown Bellingham, Washington. Yes, I know, many legit businesses use PO Boxes so that in itself isn’t a problem.

Northfork’s website lists their street address as 104 W. Magnolia Ave. I can find a Magnolia “Street” but no “Avenue”. Yes, Google can make mistakes and so can business’s websites.

So, I can’t wait to see when the last “international border is crossed” and you all get your stuff.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been a big buyer from Grafs at $115/5K for a number of years. Down to my last 1K of SPP so I also took a chance on 5K SPP. All the LPP and SPP I have loaded have all gone bang in my cowboy action shooting and normal non-SASS firearms.

As we speak, the pallet is on an old derelict UN truck with chickens, goats, and refugees rumbling down a mountainside to the coast where it will be loaded on a fishing trawler for a late night crossing of the Adriatic to Italy.

Thereafter, it will be loaded on an Italian container ship along with crates of Chianti, Parmesano Romano, and stolen Ferraris.

Won’t be long now.

To me, as well as others, this is a risk free transaction. If it doesn't pan out I simply file a dispute with Visa and the money is returned to me and charged back to the vendor. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Northfork would be in a world of hurt if they intended to defraud. Right off the bat I can think of interstate wire fraud, https://www.justice.gov/archives/jm/criminal-resource-manual-941-18-usc-1343-elements-wire-fraud.

FWIW, yesterday I sent a USPS Money Order to a guy in Elmira NY for a purchase off Gunbroker. If he doesn't deliver, I don't have a lot of recourse.

I don't want to come off as being a cheerleader for Northfork Tactical, I've had several email exchanges, they seem legitimate. I've had no transactions with them. To me, it's worth the risk. I don't find the price unreasonable. We're all adults here, you'll make what's decision is best for you.

I took the leap as well for $315 for 5000 SPP. Since it is a credit card purchase it seems worth the risk.

Back when I was in government contracting one of the common scams in the IT world was for a foreign group to buy a struggling IT distribution/reseller business in the US on the cheap and then run the company for a short time legitimately. They would negotiate new credit lines with all sorts of vendors pointing to the long history of the company and their great new plans to expand and grow. After a short period of time, they would then execute their exit strategy usually at the busiest time. In most cases this was government year end (September) or Christmas.

They would run up all of their lines of credit to the max, Take payment from as many customers as possible. They would use shipping excuses to delay as long as possible to make sure they maximized the volume with their customers. They would then drain the bank accounts and ship all of the purchased products to an overseas shell company to resell outside the US.

I have to admit when I first read this thread this is what flashed into my head. I guess this shows how desperate we are for primers that despite the risk we still pulled the trigger to order these.

As a CYA, one might contact the card services department first and ask exactly how long, from the time the charges are made, do they have to dispute them?

If the answer is near the “hopefully by..” date, they might want to put that into consideration as to why complete 100% upfront payment is demanded vs a deposit, even a substantial one to prevent people from backing out even if there are lower priced alternatives by then.

It’s easiest to catch fish, when they are in a feeding frenzy.

Well here's hoping they are legit. I only ordered 2k as $135 was about as much as I'm willing to risk on this perhaps risky venture.

At $60/1000 the price is much better than anything I can find and I'm a big believer in the saying that anything that sounds too good to be true probably is a scam. If I should lose my money I'll chalk it up to tuition in the school of hard knocks. I'm willing to roll the dice, but I'll keep the stakes low.

Hope it works out...Paying up front for a maybe is not my cup of tea. If they can't jump the import hurdle are they going to refund everyone? As mentioned might want to check with your cc company on time limits for claims. Good luck with it though. I found SR primers the other day at the local for 4.50 a hundred. Bought 2000 and let the guy next to me have the rest...
