So, I've been loading 45ACP for a long time, used CCI, Remington, and Winchester large pistol primers interchangeably without issue.

Ran out of all of those. :)

I have 25,000 Winchester primers (5 cases) marked "For Standard or Magnum Pistol Loads".

Are those interchangeable with standard large pistol primers?

That is the Winchester standard large pistol primer. They do not make a "mag" for large pistol. I have used thousands of them in .45 ACP with standard load data.

OK thanks!

These are marked WLP in the corner, which is the same designation as the old primers, so I thought that was the case but wanted to be sure. The old Winchester primers I used were marked differently ("for standard pistol loads").

That is the standard Winchester LP primer which provides superb performance in my bullseye pistol load.

Like has been said, those are the standard Winchester primers now. They will work just as well as your older Winchester LP primers, not to worry...
(you have 25,000? MY HERO!!)

They go quick, Arch. Those will get me through the winter. Want to get back up to speed before springtime when all the fun starts.

Since I've started shooting again, whenever I can get off work early enough to get down to where I shoot by the lake in the backyard, I'll go through 150 a day.

Good thing is it only takes about two and a half hours to load and box up 1,000 rounds on the Dillon 650.

This weeks supply :)

My older daughter lending a hand on the boxing part.

She can't shoot a 45 yet, but this earns her range time on the Ruger 22's. :) :)

(I'd take her regardless, but she don't know that!)

Trent,
It's great to see you have your daughter involved with your loading. Passing on good habits to the next generation of shooters is very important to our sport.

.45's might be too much for her right now but she looks old enough to handle .38 Special target loads. I'm sure she will like shooting a .38 Special revolver, go for it!

Man. I don't have any volunteers to help me. I must be doing it wrong.
