I ordered my item (red dot) on 1 Dec.

My card was charged on 4 Dec.

The item was marked "In stock, ships within 48 hours"

I received the notificaton e-mail/receipt same day I ordered and it said I would be notified when the order was shipped or was backordered.

No word.

I sent another e-mail throught their website on 10 Dec, asking the status.

No response.

I sent another e-mail through their website on 17 Dec......

Where is it going to end up? Anyone out there have experience with Impact Guns? An "inside" contact? Any suggestions at all?

I would call your CC company and tell them you never received the goods. Have them reverse the charges.

I've heard many horror stories regarding Impact.

I would call them on the phone and ask them about it. Let them know you'd like the item shipped or a refund by Friday. Like 98C5, I've heard little good about Impacts Online business, or their Utah locations. People claim their store in Boise is good, so maybe try calling that store directly and see if they can get you in touch with someone who will help you.

Wow, this is news to me, I love Impact Guns and have used their website many times without a problem.

A pet peave of mine is jumping on the net before you CALL THEM. It is not uncommon for emails from paticular hosts to get caught up in our spam filters. Maybe you should just call them.

Edited to add, I am in NO WAY defending them. We have been the recipient of a large number of their customers for various reasons. And some of their bigger vendors.....

As I recall, there have been several threads here dealing with Impact Guns. A search on the major forums before doing business with a new company may avert some heartburn. Although, of course, that doesn't do the OP any good at this point.

MSgt B.

I hope you're able to get this resolved quickly!

I placed an online order for a PTR-91 from them, with them having listed those as having a 2-4 week lead time. After two months of waiting, I called them up and was told, quite plainly, that JLD was no longer making PTR-91s.

I blinked a few times, contacted JLD directly, to confirm that I had just been told a total bald-faced lie.

Those two events are the primary reason I won't do business with 'em.

Yeah, give them a buzz. It's the holidays, even a gun dealer may be busy.:D Have you seen all the UPS and FedEX trucks out this week? Maybe they have it?

Give a gun dealer a break. You know, eight hours a day of sitting on a stool telling people "NO!" can really make one tired and peevish.:p
